Teaching in Thailand
In October of 2019, I decided to pack my bags and head to Thailand to teach English for a year. Unfortunately, my time there was cut short due to Coronavirus, but the 6 months I spent there turned out to be the most fulfilling and eye-opening experience of my life.
Placed in a small city 5 hours East of Bangkok, I was assigned to teaching 6 and 7 year olds basic English. Being that I had never taught English before, going into it I was feeling intimidated and nervous. However, with the help of the kind local Thai people and other foreign teachers in the community, I had a life-changing and fulfilling experience teaching young children.
