A Real Success

During my time abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2018, I was given the opportunity to intern at a non profit organization called The Amy Foundation. Their mission is to increase the lives of young children (aged 4- 18) who are living in townships, or otherwise considered underprivileged/ poverty-stricken communities. The organization focused on engaging children in extra curricular activities such as sports, arts and music, health and safety, and education. I was fortunate enough to participate in teaching these children, as well as contribute to the overall marketing of the Amy Foundation throughout the Cape Town area.
